Women’s Sports Awards Celebration 2008-Recap

On Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, the Women’s Sports Awards Celebration was held in celebration of National Girls and Women In Sports Day. Keynote Speaker Picabo Street motivated over 1,400 attendees to get involved in sports by sharing her secrets to success. Local athletes were honored for their achievments in sports and life. Area high school state champions were also honored for their accomplisments through the March of Champions.
