Message from The Greater Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation

Special thanks to Commissioner Dave Lindstrom, Johnson County Parks and Recreation and the Community Leadership Council for all their hard work, support and dedicated service in working to create something very special for Johnson Cunty and our region. 

We remain committed to future opportunites that include additional fields for soccer, filed hockey, lacrosse and rugby within our metropolitan area.  In addition, we will continue to support the local ownership group for the Kansas City Wizards as they continue to exploe all of their options in metropolitan Kansas City.  Lastly, a special thank you to the youth soccer community who worked tiressly on behalf of this initiative.
