RaceFest 2006 was a huge success as fans were treated to autograph sessions from IRL drivers such as Danica Patrick as well as drivers from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Thousands made their way through the array of displays at The Legends shopping center on Friday before heading across the street to catch the races at the Kansas Speedway on Saturday and Sunday. Thank you to those who joined us and we look forward to seeing you on race weekend next year!

The Kansas City Sports Commission and the Kansas Speedway are planning one of the most exciting events for racing fans: RaceFest 2006 at The Legends presented by the Kansas Lottery.
RaceFest 2006 will take place from Noon to 10:00 PM on Friday, June 30th, at The Legends at Village West Shopping Center (parking lot west of Yard House and Pin-Up Bowl), located across the street from the Kansas Speedway.
The event will kick off the race weekend at the Kansas Speedway and is designed to bring fans of all ages closer to the excitement of the racing world.
The experience is divided into:
- Live entertainment
- Car simulators
- Show car displays
- Autograph sessions:
- NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
- IndyCar Series
- ARCA RE/MAX Series
- Great food and beverages from Hooters.
The Legends will be transformed into a carnival atmosphere for die-hard race fans and the casual observer.
