Sunflowers to Roses Festival of Bikes

Sunflowers to Roses is a nonprofit organization based in Kansas City dedicated to raising money and awareness for the fight against cancer. Sunflowers to Roses develops and encourages participation in activities that reinforce the core values of family, fun, and fitness.
Join us August 19th as we kick off the 5th Annual Sunflowers to Roses Festival of Bikes and Bike Tour.
Riders who choose to register and collect pledges for S2R’s fight against cancer will qualify for incredible prizes, including Trek 5.2 Madone and Trek 5.9 Madone bikes, Bontrager Wheels, Hincapie Sportswear cycling kits and gift cards from Target, Circuit City, Applebee’s, and The House of Diamonds. The funds raised will benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation and support the KU Cancer Center and Cancer Action, Ian's Story and other programs here in Kansas City.

Fundraising
It is suggested that each rider raise at least $125 in donations. If a rider raises $125 + entry fee you will receive a 2007 Sunflowers to Roses jersey. Once you are registered your fundraising and incentive package kit will be e-mailed to you. Go for it, raise $10,000 and try to qualify for the Trek Project One bike you’ve always wanted. We have other great incentives lined up for 2007! New for 2007, volunteers can also raise money and qualify for prizes, volunteers also do not need to pay to register!
