Kevin is responsible for the planning, event management, marketing and public relations of the Baseball Forecast Luncheon, Westport St. Patrick's Day Run, Annual Awards Banquet, RaceFest, Red Friday Football Luncheon & Pep Rally, Waddell & Reed Kansas City Marathon and Thanksgiving Day 5K & Family Stroll.

Kevin grew up a Royals and Chiefs fan in Topeka, Kansas where he played numerous sports. He went on to play college baseball at Kansas State University where he served as a four-year letterman.

Kevin has a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas State University and a Masters Degree in Sports Administration from Wichita State University. Before coming to the Sports Commission, Kevin served as a graduate assistant for Event and Facility Management at Wichita State University. He started as a Special Events and Marketing Intern for the Sports Commission in the summer of 1998 and was hired as the Special Events Coordinator in the fall of 1998.

Kevin, wife Tracy and daughter Kaylie reside in Lenexa, Kansas.
