Our Staff
The Kansas City Sports Commission has a dedicated team of associates. They make more than 25 annual events available to the community. They consistently work to attract, retain and facilitate local and national sports events in Kansas City.
Our staff helps us fulfill our mission to enhance the quality of life and economic success of Greater Kansas City by taking the lead in maintaining and selectively acquiring a diversity of amateur and professional sporting
events; to collaborate with area economic development agencies to attract and retain amateur and professional sports organizations; and to promote the lifetime benefits of sports
for the youth of Greater Kansas City.
We encourage members to contact any of us to inquire how you can help us make KCSC a better organization dedicated to making our community an overall better place to live, work and play.
Internship Program
The Kansas City Sports Commission is currently accepting applications for Fall 2007 internships. These positions are a great way
to earn
school credit as well as a wide variety
of experience in the sports
management field. Internships are unpaid, but interns have the opportunity
to network with high-profile individuals in the community and attend
a variety of sports-related activities and events. Preference is
given to current students, but recent graduates may also apply. Click here for job responsibilities and more information. To apply, submit resume
with a cover letter to Marla Hanover at mhanover@sportkc.org. No phone calls please.
